great weekend, you really have a wonderful spot and we all enjoyed ourselves
very much especially the kids. All in all we had a great

"It is an amazing glimpse into heaven here!" Gail Pearman
"Great weekend ... over 50 bird species! Rock paintings! Boating! Needlework! Canasta! Fishing! Walks! Walks! And walks!" Mike Lamusse
"We had a great time at Ben Aloe, thank you. The house was
great, everything you needed was there. Lovely hikes, we want to come again for longer this time. The dogs loved it so much, we tried to keep the dirt to a
minimum! Hope we succeeded. The scenery was fabulous. It was great to be away from
the rat race of Jo'burg." Dr

Ben Aloe has an interesting place in history. The Steenkampsberg mountain range and Ben Aloe itself has Boer encampment sites used by the boers in the war. There are also two interesting instances of rock art in the mountain.
